Cast from a proprietary 356 T-6 aluminum ingot, the Freedom Series LSR engine blocks are engineered with precision and designed for durability to deliver unmatched strength and compatibility with OEM LS accessories. Reinforced from top to bottom, the blocks are built for maximum performance with added features, like cross bracing in the lifter valley, maximized crankshaft saddle radius, and a 40 percent larger footprint for the main cap contact surface to the skirt wall.
