ARP Main Stud Kits
ARP main stud kits help eliminate main cap walk/fretting and protect the threads in your engine block. They include studs made from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated in-house to 190,000 psi tensile-strength rating. The precision J-form threads are rolled after heat-treat for much stronger threads than the competition. Kits come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality nuts. Howards Cams Extreme Billet Main Caps
Howards Cams extreme billet main caps are precision CNC-machined from superior-quality low-carbon 1020 billet material. They come available as stock replacements (straight bolt) or with splayed outer bolt holes. The splayed caps feature 10 degree angled outer holes to positively reinforce and tie the block together. Front, rear and center caps are all available. Use all the Howards Cams caps together for the ultimate in bottom-end stress and flex management. Milodon Main Caps
Milodon aftermarket main bearing caps not only strengthen factory 2-bolt blocks, but they will also add a measurable degree of strength to 4-bolt blocks. They are made from precision-machined, high-strength steel, which has the proper balance of strength and flexibility to allow for the transfer of increased shock loads to the crank and bearings. The secret is in the side bolts. They are angled so that they pull from the side walls of the block and not from the flimsy main web area. They'll also load the cap against the register step, which will prevent dreaded "cap walk." They can be installed by anyone with a hand drill and a tap and they come with the necessary bolts, washers, and drill bushing to complete the installation. Milodon main cap kits are available in your choice of angled or straight bolts.

World Products Merlin IV Engine Blocks
World Products has made improvements to virtually every area of the new Merlin IV engine blocks—with the goal of producing the most technologically advanced and best-performing iron BBC block available today! New features include thicker main webs for increased strength and thicker cylinder walls which are nominally .310 in. @ 4.600 in. bore. In addition to the standard BBC 9.800 in. and 10.200 in. deck heights, new heights measuring 9.500 in., 9.850 in. and 10.250 in. are now available. The World Products Merlin IV engine blocks are also available with a 2.120 in. BBC cam journal and standard .842 in. lifter bores, or with a 2.283 in. journal for a 55mm Babbitt cam and .904 in. lifter bores. World Products has added a front oil feed for dry sump systems, and relocated the lifter oil feeds and restrictor provisions to the front of the blocks.
