A fully dressed engine includes everything except front drive accessories (like alternators and power steering pumps), and even a warranty!
These terms aren’t that precise, and can mean different things to different manufacturers, so make sure the crate engine you buy comes with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Chevrolet Performance LT1 6.2L E-Rod long block crate engines have it all. They're architecturally similar to the LS family of small block engines, but with a unique block casting, cylinder head design, oiling system, and more. LT1 engines also combine advanced technologies—including direct-injection and continuously variable valve timing to support an advanced combustion system. Offered with a wet-sump or dry-sump oiling system, the Chevy E-Rod engine systems include the specially designed engine controller for retro-fit applications and harness needed to get the engine running.
