Specific information (instructions): The replacement crate engines are built with two different designed oil pans. Differences are the first design oil pan has threaded hole for oil level sensor; the second design oil pan is without hole for the oil level sensor. Transfer oil pan from original engine or procure new, if required. For C/K Trucks, G-van applications, the oil pan on the replacement engine has been upgraded with a new oil deflector (shield) installed over a new oil pressure relief valve. If transferring the original oil pan to the replacement engine transfer these new components to that oil pan. --Transfer crankshaft balancer, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, sensor wiring harness and bracket from original engine or procure new. --Install new crankshaft balancer bolt that is included with engine assembly. --Refer to instruction sheet for general/detailed information and instructions on components that are required to be transferred from the original engine assembly or procured new. --Transfer crankshaft balancer, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, sensor wiring harness and bracket from original engine or procure new. --Install new crankshaft balancer bolt that is included with engine assembly.
