The Ford Performance 2024 Raptor 3.5L 450HP EcoBoost crate engines provide the benefit of a high-performance, factory-tested engine for your project or engine swap. They are the same twin-turbocharged, high-output engine found in the production 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor. More cubic inches mean more horsepower. It's that simple. One of the easiest ways to get those added cubes--and added ponies at the same time--is to install a stroker crank. An even easier way is to get one of these Ford Performance Parts 347 stroker short-block engine assemblies. That's because Ford has done most of the work for you. They start with a 0.030 in. overbore, 4-bolt main, 302 c.i.d. block, to which they add a 3.400 in. forged steel stroker crank, forged-steel connecting rods, and forged pistons. Just add your own heads, cam, timing-chain set, and accessories, and you're in business. Chevrolet Performance ZZ572 long block crate engines are built around an all-new Gen VI tall deck Bowtie big block. They feature a forged 4340 steel crank with a 4.375 in. stroke, shot-peened forged 4340 H-beam connecting rods, and forged aluminum pistons with full-floating wrist pins. The cylinder heads have a rectangle port that's redesigned to produce a pump-gas friendly 9.6:1 compression ratio. The block has provision for a mechanical fuel pump and comes internally balanced. Note: The required intake manifold needs to fit a tall deck block, and the distributor must have a slip collar.
