ATK High Performance Chrysler Gen III Hemi 392 short blocks offer two robust bottom ends for your hot rod. One is perfect for your potent street or race build, while the other is designed for engines that will be running boost or nitrous. These Hemi blocks feature top-of-the-line Scat forged stroker kits. They include clocked camshaft bearings set to the OEM position, plus installed/sealed freeze plugs and oil galley plugs. You wouldn't build a house on sand, so don't start your big block Mopar build with anything less than ATK High Performance Chrysler Gen III Hemi 396 short blocks. Features, items, and specs may include: * Seasoned OE main block (ARP main studs with boost/nitrous version) * 3.927 x 4.050 bore/stroke * Scat 4.050 in. stroke crankshaft (internally balanced) * Scat 4340 forged 6.125 in. connecting rods with ARP bolts * Forged -2cc flat top pistons * Moly or Plasmamoly with steel top ring gapped for boost/nitrous piston rings (depending on application) * 81cc=9.9:1/85cc=9.6:1/89cc=9.2:1 compression ratio (based off .028 in. gasket)
