A 3/4 in. thick head deck makes the AFR heads ideal for nitrous or blower applications. These heads will not accept rail rocker arms, and hardened push rods are required on models designed for stud mount rocker arms.

These Chevrolet Performance High Output crate engine cast iron cylinder heads are designed for use with the Gen V and Gen VI design, 454 big block V8 crate engines. They feature a 118cc open combustion chamber with 2.18 in. intake valves and 1.88 in. exhaust valves with rectangular intake ports.
