These budget-friendly heads are perfect for your 350 to 400 cu. in. operating below 6,000 rpm. They come fully assembled with the identical components found in their higher end CNC-ported cylinder heads, such as ARP rockers studs, PAC Racing springs, Viton® valve seals, AFR adjustable guide plates, machined bead valve locks, hardened spring cups and ductile iron seats, and their one piece 8mm 21 4N stainless steel valves. Wagner Tuning Pro Series cylinder head stud kits replace the original bolts with high-strength Pro Series 18.8 stud bolts with a tensile strength of 1850 N/mm², and they do not need to be replaced after disassembly, but can be reused. Pro Series bolt threads are formed and not cut as is customary in the trade. By rolling the threads, the strength of the tooth flanks can be increased by around 30 percent. All Pro-Series products are supplied with a nickel coating or a burnished finish and are therefore protected against corrosion in the long term, even under the toughest conditions. Pro Series stud bolts have a hexagon socket drive on the head side for screwing in the stud bolts. Thanks to a cone on the engine block side of the stud, these are not supported on the thread flanks when the nuts are tightened, but in the bore of the thread in the engine block. This support protects the threads during frequent assembly of racing engines. Nuts and washers are included in each set, and they also have a tensile strength of 1850 N/mm². They are premium-grade and race-quality, created from aircraft-quality 8740 chromoly steel right in Milodon's own plant. These studs are ground and thread-rolled after heat treatment to ensure the exacting tolerances that Milodon requires for all of their fasteners. This ensures strength and consistent torque readings. The tensile strength of these premium fasteners is 190,000 psi, which is more than adequate for the most demanding applications. All kits come complete with 4130 heat-treated, parallel-ground washers and high-strength nuts. These studs are available for dozens of specific cylinder head style applications.
