Clevite V-Series Rod Bearings

If you liked the results that you used to get with Vandervell bearings--especially their higher conformability--then you should love Clevite V-Series rod bearings, which basically duplicate the Vandervell items. Built on un-plated, hardened-steel backings for better dimensional accuracy and bore contact, they have low-to-medium eccentricity. The biggest difference between V-Series and other Clevite 77 bearings is their lead-indium surface alloy, which gives them that extra conformability. V-Series bearings are available in narrower versions to provide greater crank-fillet clearance, as well as in extra-clearance variations that provide an additional 0.001 or 0.002 in. of clearance.

Oliver Big Block Max Series Connecting Rods

Oliver Big Block Max Series connecting rods are for those who push beyond the limits—where weight takes a back seat to absolute strength. The Max rods are engineered for use in the most extreme applications where power-adders are common, such as big block turbocharged or supercharged endurance motors and blown alcohol drag cars. All Oliver Racing rods are precision-machined using only premium mill-certified aircraft quality E4340 chromoly alloy, heat-treated to produce a 100 percent martensite grain structure. The I-beam connecting rods feature Oliver's exclusive "Parabolic Beam" design that reduces beam stress and delivers the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any connecting rod currently made. Oliver Max Series connecting rods provide quality craftsmanship, materials, and processes to deliver the ultimate durability and strength needed to answer your pursuit of power. Order the length needed for your vehicle and engine application.

Oliver Big Block Max Plus Series Connecting Rods

Oliver Big Block Max Plus Series connecting rods are for those who push beyond the limits, where weight takes a back seat to absolute strength. Featuring the same design and engineering as the Big Block Max rods, the Plus Series has additional material in key areas, larger radiuses, and longer rod bolts for even more strength. They are engineered for use in the most extreme applications where power-adders are common, such as big block turbocharged or supercharged endurance motors and blown alcohol drag cars. All Oliver Racing rods are precision-machined using only premium mill-certified aircraft quality E4340 chromoly alloy and heat-treated to produce a 100 percent martensite grain structure. King XP-Series Rod Bearings

King XP-Series rod bearings feature advanced metallurgical and geometric technologies that meet extreme performance loads. They were developed for all performance applications that use forged steel aftermarket crankshafts and produce high loads for extended periods. King focuses on one product—bearings—and nothing else. Their innovative race-only Xtreme Performance Max Black Tri-Metal rod bearings have a 24 percent stronger overlay and 17 percent more fatigue strength by using a micro process called SecureBond. Built with enhanced tri-metal, King XP-Series rod bearings layer copper-lead construction with a nickel plate barrier and a lead/tin/copper Babbitt overlay over a steel backing in an adhesion process that provides superior stability and durability. King's advanced control measures hit a bull's-eye, maintaining wall thickness tolerances far tighter than their competitors—at an amazing +/- .0001 in.! XP-Series rod bearings are narrowed on the crank cheek side with increased crush height for improved bearing-to-bore contact, heat transfer, and reduced spin potential in high-rpm applications.
