Expected motor life has increased greatly through the years, but anything with moving parts is susceptible to wear and will eventually need rebuilt. PAC Racing 300 Series valve spring retainers are made from 4140 aerospace grade chromoly steel, making them an excellent choice for stock to slightly modified rebuilds. PAC does their own in-house manufacturing, allowing them to build strength into these units.
