Jesel Sportsman Series Shaft Rocker Arms
Since their release, Jesel Sportsman Series shaft rocker arms have proven themselves to be the ultimate replacements for inadequate stud rocker assemblies on OEM and aftermarket cylinder heads. The 2024 aluminum bodied rocker arms are designed to withstand open spring pressures of up to 900 lbs., while maintaining precise valve lash settings. They are designed to bolt on with little to no cylinder head modifications and in most cases still fit under a stock valve cover. The rocker geometry is preset and engineered using the common valve supplied with the specific cylinder head to provide a bolt-on-and-go installation. Summit Racing™ HDR Thickwall Chromoly Pushrods
Summit Racing™ HDR premium thick-wall pushrods are a great upgrade for your engine. Factory pushrods (and even .080 wall aftermarket versions) act like a pogo stick in a running engine. Not only is static spring pressure working against them, it's also the valvetrain inertial mass increasing with RPM. This reduces power and valvetrain life. While a .080 thin-wall pushrod may not break, it doesn't mean it's the best option. Enter the HDR's. Summit™ used FEA (Finite Element Analysis) in the initial testing. We didn't just compare them to thin-wall welded-ball factory pushrods, but with aftermarket models, as well. The results speak for themselves! * The Summit™ HDR 5/16 x .105 wall pushrods have 20 percent less stress and 25 percent less deflection than a typical 5/16 x .080 chromoly pushrod * The Summit™ HDR Pro LS 11/32 x .120 wall have 25 percent less stress and 28 percent less deflection than a typical 5/16 x .080 wall chromoly pushrod * The Summit™ HDR 3/8 x .135 pushrods commonly used in big blocks has 15 percent less stress and 20 percent less deflection than a typical 3/8 x .080 wall chromoly pushrod Summit Racing™ added other high-end features like 210 degree ball ends to cope with extreme lobe lift and clear the rocker and are available in multiple lengths. * HDR 5/16 pushrods are offered in common LS, SBC, and SBF lengths * HDR Pro LS 11/32 pushrods add .030 diameter AND .120 wall thickness over a 5/16. Although most LS engines came with 5/16 pushrods, 11/32 pushrods fit any stock or aftermarket cylinder head. The added thickness adds much needed strength to any LS cam swap or engine build. COMP Cams 4-Pattern Hydraulic Roller Camshafts
To make the most power from your engine, you need to optimize the air ingested and captured by avoiding valves closing too soon or too late. COMP Cams 4-pattern hydraulic roller camshafts are the first series of cams designed to accommodate a difference in runner length and avoid valves closing at the wrong times. Any conventional center-layout single throttle body or carbureted V8 intake manifold features longer outboard runners and shorter inboard runners, meaning that each valve event should occur at a different moment. COMP Cams has designed a series of cams that optimizes valve events and features a large increase in both area under the curve and stability at high rpm. They feature four different lobe patterns with one intake and exhaust design for outboard runners and another intake and exhaust design for the inboard runners. While the four central cylinders are all the same grinds, the outboard exhaust openings are two degrees earlier, with outboard intake closings coming two degrees later. NASCAR has been utilizing this technology for years. COMP Cams is now applying this same knowledge in street vehicles to balance air/fuel ratio per cylinder. These cams are CNC-ground from steel billet cores. They feature cast iron distributor gears and utilize a series of lobes with over .600 in. valve lift and stability up to 7,500 rpm, all while providing more consistent cylinder to cylinder torque. They also feature tight lobe separation for both excellent power and a throaty sound. Designed for small block Chevy, big block Chevy, and small block Ford carbureted or fuel injected applications, the design is exclusive and unique to COMP Cams.
