If you're looking for a cost-effective camshaft solution to delete that pesky DOD—Chevrolet Performance stock replacement non-DOD camshafts are the answer. They're designed to work with OEM valve springs/pushrods in the DOD-equipped Gen 4 trucks. These OEM camshafts are standard equipment on non-DOD 5.3L trucks.
