Pro SBF and 303+ cams start with American bearing steel billets, the cams are precision-machined on a modern Landis CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality. Still thinking in terms of LSA and duration splits? These cams are designed on a whole other level by tuning each of the four valve events separately. Having a cam with attitude doesn't mean it has to be a dog at low rpm. We've tuned each of the four valve events to maximize power and torque in the range you will be running in. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. Summit Racing's™ affordable E303 Plus, B303 Plus, and F303 Plus are designed to tune easily and have the idle you're looking for. We've applied the latest lobe technology, and the valve events have been tweaked for modern intake manifolds and cylinder heads. The Pro SBF lineup ranges from a 204-duration daily driver tow cam to a 252 duration 8k rpm barn-burner. They are ground in fine increments to match your specific engine's top-end, displacement and intended rpm range. The lobes are stable to high-rpm and easy on the valvetrain, but we've added lift to take advantage of the high-lift flow of the latest cylinder heads. They are more aggressive with more overlap than their 303+ brothers for more attitude.

Everything from casting techniques to valve spring clearance was scrutinized to ensure that Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms not only lived up to the lofty standards of their predecessor, but also took stud mount rocker performance, stability, and value to a whole new level. The most noticeable advancement centers around their nearly unbreakable investment cast 8650 chromoly body. The arched, web-like design delivers a nearly 29 percent increase in strength and rigidity, while reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. The resulting rockers maximize lift and valvetrain control at high rpm. The increased retainer and valve spring clearances of the new design enable the use of large-diameter valve springs, retainers, and locks, without clearance or fitment issues. The new black oxide exterior finish offers a distinctive appearance, along with long-term corrosion resistance. The COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms feature an oversized trunnion and precision-sorted needle bearings designed for use with high-load valve springs. These unique rockers also feature hardened roller tips for reduced friction and elimination of the valve stem "side loading" that causes premature valve guide wear.

This ensures maximum performance and gives you the idle you are looking for. The lobes are designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in quality .600 and .670 in. spring packs. Careful design guarantees the cams can be installed with minimal difficulty. Although piston to valve clearance should always be verified, the Stage 2 and 3 cams often allow for additional cylinder head milling. The Stage 4 cams often require no changes but can be degreed slightly different as needed. Starting with American bearing steel, they are precision machined on a Landis 3LB CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality.
