Holley High-Mount Base Accessory Drive Kits

Holley's high-mount base accessory drive kits have everything pulled up and in tighter than other options. The patent-pending accessory drive incorporates the timing cover, water pump, and alternator and can also be configured with A/C and/or P/S if desired. The systems are designed to work with the factory crank pulley, as well as aftermarket damper and pulleys. Accessory drive components in the system can be configured in several different ways. For example, there are alternator options offered for different performance and electrical demands. Also, deleting the A/C and/or P/S are options. These "base kits" supply all but the components with options. If you purchase a "Holley complete kit," all these options are already chosen for the most common, cost-effective combination. March Performance 1979-93 5.0 Ford power and amp series pulley kits are designed to give superb performance, while maintaining perfect electrical charging, even at idle. They create approximately 11 HP at the rear wheels by reducing accessory drag. They're ideal for vehicles with automatic transmissions or for high amperage needs such as heavy stop-and-go driving. They come available in 3-piece steel or aluminum sets. Aluminum pulley kits are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for extra strength, and are hand-polished and covered with a maintenance-free clear powdercoated finish. They have a durable hard coating on the crank pulley to prevent oil seal leaks, and on the water pump pulleys to prevent premature wear. Steel pulley kits are made from high-carbon steel precision-machined to run perfectly true, coated with iron phosphate, and then covered with a high-gloss, black polyester powdercoated finish for maximum rust prevention.
