Plus, they are compatible with both factory crank pulleys and aftermarket damper/pulleys. Positioning an engine swap correctly is crucial, ensuring it aligns with the vehicle's original engine's crankshaft centerline. Holley's innovative solution achieves just that, allowing proper engine placement while providing clearance for a stock Fox Body hood (when used with a low-profile intake). Our system replaces Ford's sump-mounted oil pump with a high-capacity gerotor pump positioned behind the timing cover, gaining crucial crossmember and ground clearance. To ensure reliability, they incorporated a proven pump design utilizing Melling sourced components that mimics the factory pressure level. Unlike most pumps that require removing the oil pan to change the pressure spring, Holley introduced a first-of-its-kind external access port, allowing hassle-free spring switching.
