These Dorman alternator combination mounting brackets are designed to mount to the front of GM 4-cylinder engines and hold the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and serpentine belt idler pulley. Many times, when the above accessories are removed for replacement, the mounting bolts, after years of exposure to the elements, will corrode and rust. Lisle exhaust manifold drill template kits will remove broken exhaust manifold bolts/studs without damaging the cylinder heads. The kits contain all the components you need to make the job easier. Tapered bolts center base plate over the bolt holes and a slip-fit bushing allows you to move from hole to hole without moving the base plate. The screw extractor is then used to remove the broken bolt. Lisle offers several kits to cover many applications and they include a bushing to drill to tap size when extractor cannot be used and drill depth gauge to make sure water jacket is not pierced.
