Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Final prototype testing also included a 9-month beta testing program in collaboration with various road racers, drag racers, and drifters. The CCS's design maximizes air-oil separation efficiency, resulting in a peak separation efficiency of 85 to 90 percent. For comparison, none of the competitor's catch cans tested showed a peak efficiency of more than 60 percent. The CCS oil catch cans are durable, made from high-quality, reliable components and, as with any Improved Racing product, nothing will vibrate loose or come apart under racing conditions. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That's where Holley retrofit oil pan baffle kits for the GM LS engines come in handy. They are designed to maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pickup during vehicle accelerations, both lateral and linear. The baffle maintains the oil at the oil pump pickup preventing loss of engine oil pressure during maximum cornering in a high performance touring or road racing, as well as under hard acceleration in drag racing vehicles. The baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG-welded joints. Directionally positioned one-way trap doors allow oil flow towards the oil pump pickup but not away.

Mishimoto baffled oil catch cans are designed to separate oil particles from the PCV air that would normally have just been routed back to your intake. They feature custom grooves in the catch can's inlet that turbulates the air longer and ensures that all of the oil sinks to the bottom, leaving nothing but clean air to pass through the 40 micron bronze filter to the intake. An internal baffle keeps the collected oil from splashing around under race conditions. These catch cans are machined from 100 percent billet 6061 aluminum, and accept AN fittings at the inlet, outlet, and drain area—allowing for over 27 possible configurations. For maximum fitment options, the top cog mounting setup enables the cans to be mounted from multiple angles. To make maintenance easy, the drain plug can be removed to allow for AN return to the oil pan. Mishimoto baffled oil catch cans are washable, unlike many other cans that require you to replace your filtration system, and they're available in a variety of colors. Holley offers LS swap 4WD truck off-road oil pan baffles for a variety of trucks, including many Chevy and GMC models from the 1970s and '80s. They take Holley's popular cast aluminum oil pans (P/N 302-4 and 302-4BK) designed to swap LS engines into K10s and other trucks to a whole new level. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of climbing, crawling, braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That's where these baffle kits come in. They improve upon the baffle included with those pans, maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pick-up during vehicle elevation and grade changes, accelerations, both lateral and linear, and braking. This prevents loss of engine oil pressure during off-road excursions as well as during hard acceleration. Each baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG-welded joints. Directionally positioned one-way trap doors allow oil flow toward the oil pump pick-up but not away. These direct bolt-in baffles are designed to be used in the Holley P/N 302-4 and 302-4BK LS Swap oil pan with the standard pickup, and are a drop-in replacement for the standard tray baffle. They're great for street, race, and off-road applications.
