The 2.0T EA888.4 found in the MQB EVO / MK8 platform has possibly the most underwhelming engine cover to grace the 2.0T since its inception generations back. Some vehicles even came with no cover at all due to the fact the flimsy and floppy factory cover could pop off and catch on fire. APR fixed this with a new ridged carbon fiber design that's drop dead gorgeous. Available in Gloss Carbon Fiber Twill, and Exotic Gloss Forged Carbon Fiber, the new covers are sure to turn heads. They match the overall shape and theme of the factory cover, but ooze aesthetic appeal, thanks to the carbon fiber materials, red and black accents, and of course, the world-renowned APR logo plate. The engine covers look right at home in an otherwise stock engine bay, but shine when paired with an APR intake system and matching intake cover. Simply plug and play, no tools necessary! Holley's mid-mount accessory drives are available for small-block Ford engines. These systems have all accessories pulled in tighter than other accessory drives. At their heart is a "bracket-less" mounting design—the accessories mount directly to a uniquely designed timing cover for a clean, integrated form. This product offers superb engine visibility to show off your engine, not unsightly accessory brackets. The premium alternator utilizes 6-phase technology as found on the C7 Corvette and only requires a one-wire hookup. The water pump cartridge also shares its design efficiencies with that of the C7 Corvette. A compact and reliable SD7 A/C compressor and Type II power steering pump with baffled reservoir are also integrated. This system design provides two heater hose return port locations (upper top and passenger-side low). The mid-mount system comes complete with everything you need: the water pump, A/C compressor, alternator, and power steering pump with reservoir. All pulleys and the belt are supplied, along with heater hose adapters, power steering to-6 AN hardline, and the alternator plug/harness. Color graphical instructions walk you through every step for an easy installation. Systems are available with a natural or black finish.
