Additionally, ZZ502 c.i.d. deluxe long block crate engines are full of heavy-duty parts, such as: forged aluminum pistons, forged shot-peened steel connecting rods with 7/16 in. bolts, forged steel crankshaft, 14 in. automatic transmission flexplate, 4-bolt main blocks, stainless steel valves, 6 qt. oil pan, and windage trays. They feature a new one-piece rear main BluePrint engine block with 4-bolt mains and passenger side dipstick. Inside the block is a cast crankshaft and connecting rod rotating assembly, with 10.1:1 compression hypereutectic pistons hung on the end. The full roller camshaft provides .544 intake/555 exhaust Lift with 230 intake/236 exhaust Duration at .050 with a 110 degree lobe separation. Up top is a dual-plane intake manifold with Holley Sniper fuel injection system The engines also include an oil pan, a set of valve covers, and a timing cover to finish them off.

Their 350 c.i.d. truck long block crate engines are built up from 1996-2002 style 4-bolt main blocks with one-piece rear main seals. To this, Chevrolet adds a nodular-iron crankshaft, powdered-metal connecting rods, and hypereutectic aluminum pistons. You also get power-producing Vortec cylinder heads with 1.94 in. intake valves and 1.50 in. exhausts, and 64cc combustion chambers that yield a gas-pump friendly 9.4:1 compression ratio. This combination is paired up with a roller cam that has 0.414 in. of intake lift and 0.428 in. for the exhaust. Duration at 0.050 in. of lift is 191 degrees for the intake and 196 for the exhaust, with 111 degrees of lobe separation. These long block crate engines come complete with an oil pan, timing cover, valve covers, and harmonic balancer.
