Radium Engineering PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valves are not simple one-way check valves. Radium's valves have an internal plunger that dynamically meters the appropriate amount of crankcase vent airflow based on current engine load, preventing the "vacuum leak" that a check valve would create at low loads. Also, in the event of a backfire, these PCV valves prevent combustible vapors from igniting in the crankcase.
Offered in two outlet sizes, Radium PCV valves feature 6061 aluminum construction with a durable Type-II anodized finish and include sealing O-rings.
