They put out 385 HP and 405 lbs.-ft. of torque for a thrilling feeling of immediate performance. The long block crate engines feature new lightweight aluminum cylinder heads based on the proven Fast Burn design—with large intake runners, and 2 in. diameter intake and 1.55 in. exhaust valves. New beehive-style valve springs enable greater high-rpm performance and durability—as the egg-shaped springs have less reciprocating mass in motion, require less spring pressure for greater valve control, and handle valvetrain stresses more efficiently.
