The Ford Performance 2024 Raptor 3.5L 450HP EcoBoost crate engines provide the benefit of a high-performance, factory-tested engine for your project or engine swap. They are the same twin-turbocharged, high-output engine found in the production 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor. The engine is built to the same specifications as the production Raptor, which was designed to endure the demanding conditions of high-performance off-roading. The crate engine includes a new block and all new internal components, removing the uncertainty associated with building an engine from used or aftermarket parts. It's important to note that crate engines are not a direct replacement and require other parts for installation that may not be included in this kit. Premium Unleaded Fuel is recommended. Ford Performance Parts 351 Aluminum Windsor engine blocks feature cast iron sleeves and are available in 9.2 in. or 9.5 in. deck heights. The 9.2 in. version of Ford's Z351 aluminum Windsor blocks is great for smaller displacement builds without the penalty of a taller deck. Both versions are cast from high strength 356-T6 grade aluminum and use splayed, 4-bolt, steel main caps on number 2-3-4 main bearings. The blocks are user friendly and designed to use conventional Windsor components like cams, timing chains, timing chain covers, oil pans, and oil pumps. With a weight of as little as 106 lbs., they can be nearly 90 lbs. lighter than an iron Ford Performance Parts BOSS 351 block.
