Mahle Motorsports machines the correct valve reliefs, dome profiles, and ring grooves for competition. The pins are fitted with the proper clearances and have a factory-applied phosphate and Grafal skirt coating, eliminating the expense and uncertainty of aftermarket coatings. The barrier is resistant to thermal shock, insulates the piston crown, and reduces heat transfer to increase performance.
