S&S Cycle Exhaust Valves

S&S Cycle's exhaust valves provide a premium high performance solution for Harley-Davidson® and other V-Twin motorcycles. The exhaust valves on a HD® motorcycle primarily serve to modulate exhaust sound, allowing for quieter operation in certain modes and louder performance in others. They can also contribute to improved performance by optimizing exhaust gas flow and backpressure, particularly at lower rpm's. Exhaust valves, often controlled electronically, can be opened or closed to adjust the exhaust sound. When closed, the exhaust gases pass through a silencer, resulting in a quieter tone. When open, the exhaust gases flow more freely, leading to a louder, more aggressive sound.
