Clevite P-Series Main Bearings
Clevite P-Series main bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 bearing family and are intended for high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are constructed of tri-metal cast copper lead. They have a steel back for support, a cast copper lead lining to withstand the loads of engine operation, and an electroplated babbit overlay on the running surface to provide searing surface qualities. In addition, the oil grooves on most applications extend all the way around both halves for better oiling. Clevite P-Series main bearings are an ideal design, producing a degree of conformability, embedability, slipperiness, and fatigue resistance, not found in original equipment and competitive bimetal bearings.

COMP Cams's XD-A pushrods offer a game-changing method for accurately setting lash or pre-load while using non-adjustable-style rockers. These patent-pending pushrods incorporate a top section that slides 2 in. inside a wider bottom section, with one or two shims captured in-between. Proven to 9,000-plus rpm in solid roller LS applications, the system provides a 90 percent increase in bending stiffness for enhanced valvetrain stability. It also allows for lightening of a rocker arm system by 30-plus grams on the backside by removing the adjuster and required support area for threads and seating. The use of lighter rockers with XD-A adjustable pushrods allow higher rpm to be achieved by creating a much more dynamically stable valvetrain system. Wagner Tuning Pro Series Cylinder Head Stud Kits
Wagner Tuning Pro Series cylinder head stud kits replace the original bolts with high-strength Pro Series 18.8 stud bolts with a tensile strength of 1850 N/mm², and they do not need to be replaced after disassembly, but can be reused. Pro Series bolt threads are formed and not cut as is customary in the trade. By rolling the threads, the strength of the tooth flanks can be increased by around 30 percent. All Pro-Series products are supplied with a nickel coating or a burnished finish and are therefore protected against corrosion in the long term, even under the toughest conditions. Pro Series stud bolts have a hexagon socket drive on the head side for screwing in the stud bolts. Thanks to a cone on the engine block side of the stud, these are not supported on the thread flanks when the nuts are tightened, but in the bore of the thread in the engine block. This support protects the threads during frequent assembly of racing engines. Nuts and washers are included in each set, and they also have a tensile strength of 1850 N/mm².
