Performance-minded engine builders know there's an inherent issue with valvetrain deflection when using stock rocker arm mounting in Chevrolet Gen III-IV-cylinder heads. BTR LS shaft rocker kits are designed to significantly reduce deflection, thereby improving both performance and durability. Each kit features technology typically only found in high-end shaft rocker systems. These shaft rocker systems consist of a billet steel stand equipped with four shafts per cylinder head, fasteners and bearings. The shafts are made from genuine 52100 bearing steel. Each pair of rockers has five fasteners mounting them to the rocker stand, compared to the traditional single bolt per rocker configuration. These shaft rocker kits are ready for assembly using your existing stock rockers. (Rocker arm shafts are also available individually.)

Manley TensileMax steel valve spring retainers are designed for serious engine builders. They're as light as standard titanium retainers and within 2 to 4 grams of lightweight titanium versions. The tough alloy retainers are specially heat-treated to provide a hardness of Rc 52-54 and prevent retainer wear. Manley's exclusive process yields a part that delivers optimum balance between ultimate strength, fatigue strength, hardness, and ductility. A unique impingement process developed specifically for the TensileMax alloy and hardness range improves fatigue strength and promotes better oiling between the engine valve spring and retainer. They are available in a variety of sizes, individually or in larger sets.

Smart engine builders understand the benefits of a 4&7 firing order swap camshaft, which exchanges the 4 and 7 camshaft lobe timing in small and big block Chevy engines. While some builders have realized significant horsepower gains, all of them experience the exceptionally smooth torque curve possible with this new firing order technology. Dyno, Spintron, and track-tested, these camshafts do not require any engine block, ignition, or valvetrain modifications and can be custom-ground to the engine builder's exact specifications. Regardless of the cam specs that you require, these camshafts are engineered to achieve the maximum power possible using advanced lobe designs.

Summit Racing™ Pro Hemi automotive camshafts are easy on the valvetrain and stable at high rpms. They work well with superchargers and nitrous, and will require springs, a tune, phaser limiter, and an MDS (multi-displacement system) delete. The smaller cams in this group have a noticeable lope and good power across the range, while the larger cams have a serious lope with strong top-end. Choose the one that best fits your purpose. Notes: * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 1 has a noticeable lope and works great in 5.7L as a daily driver. It makes good power through the range, and a tune and phaser limiter are required. A free flowing aftermarket exhaust is recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 2 has a mild lope and works great in a daily driver. It makes good power through the range, and a tune and phaser limiter are required. A free flowing aftermarket exhaust is recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 3 has a steady lope and is about the biggest cam to used in a daily driver. It makes great midrange and has good top end. It works with a factory converter, but a tune and phaser limiter are required, and free flowing aftermarket exhaust is recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 4 has a strong lope and works good in weekend hot rods. It makes great midrange and has very good top end. It is the biggest cam we recommend with a factory converter, and a tune and phaser limiter is required. A free flowing aftermarket exhaust is also recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 5 (or Stage 4 supercharged) camshafts provide a serious lope, great power in the mid-range, and a strong top-end. These cams require a tune, phaser limiter, an MDS (multi-displacement system) delete, and valve springs capable of .625 lift. We recommend a free flowing aftermarket exhaust and a 2800-3000 converter. Careful attention to piston-to-valve clearance is required. Fly cutting is generally not necessary. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 6 (or Stage 5 supercharged) camshafts achieve the top stages in each of these groups, providing a serious lope, great power in the mid-range, and a strong top-end. Each of these special cams require a tune, a phaser limiter, an MDS (multi-displacement system) delete, and valve springs capable of .625 lift. We recommend a free flowing aftermarket exhaust and a 3000-3200 converter. Careful attention to piston-to-valve clearance is required. Fly cutting is generally not necessary.
