They feature a very thin glass-type coating over polycarbonate, making the window resistant to chemicals, solvents, and petroleum products. See Through sight windows are main parts that may need replacing over time. The sight windows are very easy to change and Clear View recommends having a spare in case a crack develops in the coating.
