Replace a worn out or old rear oil passage plug with Moroso oil galley barbell plugs. Your vehicle's old plug could be allowing dirty engine oil to bypass the oil filter. Moroso's improved design features a secondary O-ring to seal dirty oil from flowing to the engine bearings. These dog bones also have a smaller shaft diameter than the OEM piece to minimize any flow restriction. Moroso's oil galley diverters are machined from billet aluminum, not plastic like the original OE piece, and are supplied with quality, high-temperature rated Viton® O-rings to withstand all types of engine oils and compression cycles. Crown Automotive offers oil pump drive gears for a variety of applications, including many Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models from 2011 and up. These aftermarket replacement parts are a re-engineered version of the original part, intended to fix a common design flaw in the factory unit that can cause premature bearing failure and engine damage. Crown's design relocates a seal and adds an oil groove to properly lubricate the upper and lower bearings.
