PAC Racing 600 Series valve spring retainers are the latest developments from PAC Racing Springs. These retainers feature ultra-lightweight designs from proprietary valve spring-type alloys. PAC Racing's sophisticated processing, such as micro-polishing and Nano Peen technology, are used to enhance retainer life. The high hardness of the steel provides higher wear resistance properties to offer superior abrasion resistance and improved fatigue strength, while also reducing weight. PAC Racing 600 Series valve spring come with a reduced step and need to be combined with a matching seat (where applicable) to optimize the performance of the valvetrain.

COMP Cams's XD-A pushrods offer a game-changing method for accurately setting lash or pre-load while using non-adjustable-style rockers. These patent-pending pushrods incorporate a top section that slides 2 in. inside a wider bottom section, with one or two shims captured in-between. Proven to 9,000-plus rpm in solid roller LS applications, the system provides a 90 percent increase in bending stiffness for enhanced valvetrain stability. It also allows for lightening of a rocker arm system by 30-plus grams on the backside by removing the adjuster and required support area for threads and seating. The use of lighter rockers with XD-A adjustable pushrods allow higher rpm to be achieved by creating a much more dynamically stable valvetrain system. COMP Cam XD-A pushrods are designed especially for engines with low-mass rocker arms and a light valvetrain with drop-in fitment in LS engines. They can be adjusted over a range of .172 in. in .004 in. increments with shims. Choose the pushrods with the adjustment range needed for your setup.

Manley TensileMax steel valve spring retainers are designed for serious engine builders. They're as light as standard titanium retainers and within 2 to 4 grams of lightweight titanium versions. The tough alloy retainers are specially heat-treated to provide a hardness of Rc 52-54 and prevent retainer wear. Manley's exclusive process yields a part that delivers optimum balance between ultimate strength, fatigue strength, hardness, and ductility. A unique impingement process developed specifically for the TensileMax alloy and hardness range improves fatigue strength and promotes better oiling between the engine valve spring and retainer. They are available in a variety of sizes, individually or in larger sets.
