S&S Cycle Milwaukee 8 gear drive cam chest kits include everything necessary to convert to gear drive for improved cam timing accuracy and eliminate the stock cam chain tensioner. All parts in each kit are matched to ensure superior quality, fit, finish and performance. Each kit includes necessary gaskets, components, and hardware required for a complete installation. S&S gear drive kits are available for water-cooled and oil-cooled motorcycle models. Select the kit designed for your bike. Few things serve to grab our attention at a car show or cruise night more than a car with a thumping, high performance idle. In an ongoing quest to provide you with the performance and sound that you demand, COMP Cams' engineering team proudly introduces the Thumpr Series hydraulic roller cam and lifter kits. They are designed for use in engines that were originally equipped with flat tappet camshafts. The lobe profile and grind characteristics of these Thumpr camshafts use a combination of an early exhaust valve opening, a long exhaust duration, and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap. They're designed to maximize the rough-idling characteristics of the cams, giving you a seriously aggressive exhaust note without negatively impacting the power output or streetability of the engine. They are available in three different grind profiles. Each one will produce a rough, racy exhaust note and impressive amounts of horsepower and torque within a different rpm range. Thumpr Series cam and lifter kits feature a cutting-edge hydraulic roller design that delivers a substantial power increase over an identical hydraulic flat tappet grind without sacrificing reliability or ease of maintenance.
