Oliver Big Block Series connecting rods are designed to withstand the high-torque and heavy-hitting horsepower generated from today's naturally aspirated big block engines. These rods are used in Super-Modified asphalt cars and big cubic inch naturally aspirated drag cars. All Oliver rods are precision-machined using only premium mill-certified aircraft quality E4340 chromoly alloy, heat-treated to produce a 100 percent martensite grain structure. The I-beam connecting rods feature Oliver's exclusive "Parabolic Beam" design that reduces beam stress and delivers the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any connecting r
