Wiseco Professional Series pistons are designed to take the hard-driving abuse from your performance engine. They're forged from either 2168 or 4032 aluminum alloy for maximum strength, and then precision CNC-machined to their intricate final configurations under close tolerances. Where applicable, designs incorporate strength provisions to deal with turbocharging, supercharging, and nitrous. Chromoly wrist pins and Spirolox retainers are included. On top of being constructed from superior materials, S&S Cycle's Evolution cylinders have thicker castings, larger cooling fins, and better wear resistance than stock cylinders. The design, finish and workmanship of these replacements corresponds to the stock counterparts that they replace. The cylinders feature ductile cast-iron sleeves in aluminum castings and are available in natural or black powdercoat finish to match OEM components. Individual cylinders and cylinder sets without pistons are bored slightly under size and are not honed, so they may be finish-honed to fit your pistons. They are designed for use in engines that were originally equipped with flat tappet camshafts. The lobe profile and grind characteristics of these Thumpr camshafts use a combination of an early exhaust valve opening, a long exhaust duration, and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap. They're designed to maximize the rough-idling characteristics of the cams, giving you a seriously aggressive exhaust note without negatively impacting the power output or streetability of the engine. They are available in three different grind profiles. Each one will produce a rough, racy exhaust note and impressive amounts of horsepower and torque within a different rpm range. Offset pins like OE and skirt shapes are specifically designed for street applications, making these the best piston kits available.
