COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters feature premium-quality, high-value components designed for sportsman and professional racing, along with high-end street machines. They're available in both needle-bearing and bushing configurations. Each design features two pressurized EDM oil feeds, as well as an edge-orifice feed to the wheel. This delivers a more reliable oil feed than most competing options. COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are also designed with a shallower oil band than competitors' versions for increased strength and rigidity, while internal machining helps to reduce weight. The body utilizes a skirted wheel that strengthens the lifter ears, and the skirt also provides more contact area with the lifter bore for further lifter stabilization. In addition, staked axles eliminate clips and provide robust axle retention. This feature increases the stiffness of the lifter ears and helps to prevent the ears from spreading. The COMP Cams Sportsman solid roller lifters are built from 8620 premium steel for increased strength and wear resistance and they feature a captured, stainless steel link bar design. Howards Cams Ultimate Duty forged billet connecting rods start with certified high-nickel 4340 aircraft-quality steel and are fully CNC-machined on the newest generation of equipment to ensure the removal of all surface imperfections. They are specially heat-treated using a multi-phase process to produce the ultimate in strength and reliability. Then these Ultimate Duty rods are fully stress-relieved and shot-peened to ensure that no stress risers remain. Howards Cams Ultimate Duty Forged billet connecting rods are profiled for long stroke applications and weight savings. The rod caps are double-ribbed for added strength and the rod cap alignment sleeves will keep the bearing caps precisely aligned. The rods are bronze bushed for floating pins and use 7/16 in. ARP 2000 cap screw fasteners to secure the caps.

Available in medium or large offsets with left or right placement, Race XD lifters are configurable to clear the most extreme intake angles. Two finishes are offered: REM finished bodies create an extra-smooth surface for reduced lifter body and bore wear; and the DLC-coated bodies further minimize friction for the ultimate in durability.
