To ensure reliability, they incorporated a proven pump design utilizing Melling sourced components that mimics the factory pressure level. Unlike most pumps that require removing the oil pan to change the pressure spring, Holley introduced a first-of-its-kind external access port, allowing hassle-free spring switching. Moreover, their cast aluminum oil pan features a performance-minded windage tray and baffle, guaranteeing proper oil pickup during high-G maneuvers. For extreme situations, such as drag racing, upgrade to the optional race baffle to always ensure proper oil delivery.
