Roads Original hydraulic Super Lube flat tappet lifters give you all of the remarkable features of Rhoads Original hydraulic flat tappet lifters with the addition of a patented groove down the entire length of the lifter body, constantly injecting oil on vital wear surfaces where the lifter and cam face meet. They eliminate the need for costly grooving modifications to the lifter bores in the engine block. These lifters feature greatly improved longevity along with reduced friction and are famous for increasing low-end torque, engine vacuum, and idle quality on engines equipped with performance hydraulic cams, while maintaining maximum top-end power. Better fuel economy and improved emissions quality are often reported by customers. Their unique construction reduces lift and duration at idle by approximately .010 in. to .020 in. Duration is reduced by approximately 10 to 15 degrees. Total lift and duration are restored at approximately 3,500 rpm.
