BoostLine connecting rods are designed specifically for demanding turbocharged, supercharged, and big nitrous applications. The patented, 3-pocket body forged from premium 4340 steel incorporates the best features of both the H-beam (mass/weight) and I-beam (strength) designs. This provides 60 percent more bending strength compared to common H-beam rods. Each piece is heat-treated, shot-peened, and fitted with ARP-2000 cap screws (strong, malleable, and 220,000 psi rating) before final finish machining. Keep things straight with a set of BoostLine connecting rods (also available individually). Order the connecting rods in the model recommended for your specific engine size. Free your engine's horsepower on the wings of Eagle H-beam connecting rods. Their 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel construction provides outstanding strength, while still weighing much less than stock rods. Each rod is multi-stage heat-treated, X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, 100 percent machined, and then shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. The rods have precision cap alignment sleeves to positively locate each rod cap, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models—and are available in stroker models that allow additional cam-to-rod clearance for large stroke combinations. Over time, harmful oil will build up inside of the turbocharger, intake manifold, intercooler, and piping. These Mishimoto oil catch cans are designed to help prevent this from happening. By sending the extra oil to the cans, it will stay out of the pressured turbo plumbing, which can lead to couplers coming off under boost. Go Fast Bits offers DV Plus Diverter Valves with TMS (Turbo Management System) Advantage for a wide range of vehicles, particularly imports. GFB's DV+ solution couldn't be simpler—keep what works and replace what doesn't. GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles. The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?)—but the weak point is the valve mechanism itself. So GFB's DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodized billet aluminum housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances. The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Other manufacturers' products involve replacing the entire system with a traditional pneumatic valve, requiring long vacuum hose runs, additional parts for tapping into the intake manifold vacuum—plus either a different solenoid valve to actuate the pneumatic valve, or a ballast resistor to plug into the OE wiring loom. All these additional items result in a product that is slower, less responsive, more expensive and takes much longer to install. It has long been recognized that thin rings make more horsepower due to a reduction in friction and better ring sealing, and many piston manufacturers offer standard, thinner ring grooves for this reason. Unfortunately, the choices for thinner ring packages are expensive and often made of inferior materials.
