Improved Racing oil cooler adapters have a low-profile for more header clearance. The adapters are machined from a single piece of billet aluminum and black anodized. For additional clearance with reliable sealing, they come with aluminum gaskets fitted with Viton® seals, and the adapter mounting holes are counter-bored so the mounting bolts fit flush with the adapter surface. Select Improved Racing oil cooler adapters are also available with a built-in thermostat. Oil coolers help prevent the oil from getting too hot, but are also prone to lowering oil temperatures too much, especially in colder weather or during highway driving. The rebuildable thermostat speeds warm-up and helps reduce engine wear and horsepower losses by preventing oil temperatures from dropping below optimal levels. Peterson Fluid Systems oil filter block-off plates facilitate the hook-up of wet or dry sump oil pressure lines to the engine's stock oil filter pad. These plates are constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum and include Grade 8 mounting hardware. The stock oil pump passage must be blocked when using an external oil pump.

Canton Racing Accusump universal installation kits provide you with the parts needed to plumb an Accusump when external oil lines are present. The kits include a 6 ft. length of -10 AN braided stainless steel hose, two hose ends, one 1/2 in. NPT to -10 AN adapter to connect the Accusump line, and a T-fitting which has two -10 AN threads--one for the oil flow line and one for the Accusump.
