Improved Racing oil cooler adapters have a low-profile for more header clearance. The adapters are machined from a single piece of billet aluminum and black anodized. For additional clearance with reliable sealing, they come with aluminum gaskets fitted with Viton® seals, and the adapter mounting holes are counter-bored so the mounting bolts fit flush with the adapter surface. Select Improved Racing oil cooler adapters are also available with a built-in thermostat. Oil coolers help prevent the oil from getting too hot, but are also prone to lowering oil temperatures too much, especially in colder weather or during highway driving. The rebuildable thermostat speeds warm-up and helps reduce engine wear and horsepower losses by preventing oil temperatures from dropping below optimal levels. Canton Racing SBC rear main seal adapters convert your 1986 and later blocks with one-piece rear main seals to accept an older style 2-piece seal crankshaft. These adapters are essential when installing an early-style (1985 and earlier) crankshaft into 1986 and later blocks. When using these adapters, an oil pan for a 1985 and earlier block with a right side dipstick must be used. They are made from billet aluminum and hardware is included.

Milodon main stud kits are required where maximum gasket loading and minimal wear and tear are exerted on the block threads. These engine studs are premium-grade, race-quality studs that are created from aircraft-quality 8740 chromoly steel right in Milodon's own plant. They are ground and thread-rolled after heat treatment to ensure the exacting tolerances that Milodon requires for all of their fasteners. This ensures strength and consistent torque readings. The tensile strength of these premium fasteners is 190,000 psi, which is more than adequate for the most demanding applications. All kits come complete with 4130 heat-treated, parallel-ground washers and high-strength nuts.
