S&S states that their experiences have shown the design of pinion shafts for 1990-99 big twin engines that accept stock gear kits are not strong enough for performance applications. Therefore, they do not offer a replacement shaft, and instead only offer pre-1990-style pinion shafts. These pinion shaft conversion kits are color-coded and will make the change easier. They include pinion gear, spacer, nut, and oil pump drive gear.

S&S Cycle offers inner cam gears for a variety of Harley-Davidson© street bikes from 2006 and up. This is the gear located on the inside of a camshaft, directly connected to the camshaft itself. It's responsible for transferring rotational motion from the timing belt or chain to the camshaft, allowing it to open and close the engine valves at the correct timing. Essentially, an inner cam gear is the primary gear on the camshaft that engages with the timing system to rotate the camshaft properly. These OE-style replacements are manufactured from factory materials and specifications to ensure proper fitment and long-lasting performance.
