Dayco High Performance V-belts deliver more flexibility and increased airflow around the accessory drive belt, so they run cooler and last longer than most competitive belts. Dayco was one of the first to develop raw edge sidewall construction, which facilitates controlled slippage around pulleys. This feature ensures the superior performance that drivers demand from their vehicle. The V-belts' three plies of neoprene-impregnated fabric resist heat, oil, and grease. A specially formulated treatment of the polyester cord provides the strength, stability, and reliability that's required within the standards of today's industry.

Seal up the casting core holes in your engine block and heads with Melling freeze plugs. They're manufactured from a variety of quality materials—such as brass, steel, and stainless steel—and offered in different diameters and depths to fit your specific application. These expansion plugs help protect against cracks caused by the pressure of frozen coolant and in regular operation will ensure that all vital fluids stay in the engine, where they belong. They are available for a wide range of makes and models, and can be ordered individually or in a multi-piece kit.

When oil, heat, and abrasion combine to weaken most standard accessory belts, Continental OE Technology Series V-belts will still be going strong. Continental V-belts have inherited tough construction characteristics: EPDM rubber compounds, high-strength Vytacord tension members, fiber reinforced helical cogs, and high-traction rubber edges. These features provide higher heat and abrasion resistance, no-slip contact with pulley grooves, a great fit, and improved flexibility—to deliver consistent, efficient performance, mile after mile. Belts wear and need replaced; get more for your buck with longer-lasting Continental OE Technology Series V-belts, available for a wide range of vehicle-specific applications.

Sealed Power hydraulic lifters are precision-manufactured to maintain precise valve timing under all operating conditions. A patented constant orifice metering valve provides precise oil metering to the overhead valvetrain, and longer plungers or pistons provide increased bearing surfaces, resulting in longer lifter life. Their check valves are lightweight flat discs, allowing for higher speeds and more uniform operation than competitive lifters.

Clevite P-Series main bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 bearing family and are intended for high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are constructed of tri-metal cast copper lead. They have a steel back for support, a cast copper lead lining to withstand the loads of engine operation, and an electroplated babbit overlay on the running surface to provide searing surface qualities. In addition, the oil grooves on most applications extend all the way around both halves for better oiling. Clevite P-Series main bearings are an ideal design, producing a degree of conformability, embedability, slipperiness, and fatigue resistance, not found in original equipment and competitive bimetal bearings.

Federal Mogul CP-Series rod bearings feature classic tri-metal construction and are a good choice for either street or moderate competition use. They have rugged 1010 steel backings, covered by Federal Mogul's H-24 copper-lead alloy. On top of this is a nickel barrier, followed by the tri-metal (lead-tin-copper) overplate that gives these bearings their strength and fatigue resistance. The bearings are then entirely covered with a flash coating of tin. Order the set designed for use with your make/model and engine application.

If you're building a serious performance engine, then you'll want to consider Speed-Pro Competition Series main bearings. They were developed in NASCAR and Pro Stock competition, so you know they're tough. The bearings are built on premium 1020AK steel backings and overlaid with Speed-Pro's super-duty H-14 alloy. That layer is then covered with a nickel barrier, followed by a thin lead-tin-copper overplate. However, unlike other performance bearings, there is no flash tin layer on top of that. Speed-Pro's engineers have determined that such a layer can actually move around under high loads—sometimes with undesirable consequences. Depending on the application, these main bearings have oil grooves for enhanced lubrication, while maintaining a maximum bearing surface area. They also feature Speed-Pro's exclusive contoured-flange thrust bearing technology for higher thrust-loading capacity. Competition Series main bearings are available in nearly a hundred configurations for countless vehicle and engine applications.
