URO Parts offers variable timing eccentric shaft actuators for a variety of cars and trucks, including BMW and Mini Cooper applications from 2002 and up. The eccentric shaft position sensor is used as a feedback for the Valvetronic eccentric camshaft (part of BMW's innovative throttle system). The eccentric shaft is actuated by the Valvetronic motor and in return controls variable intake valve lift. The eccentric shaft sensor is mounted to the cylinder head beneath the valve cover.
