Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 cylinder heads deliver performance that far exceeds the power capabilities of factory heads on 283-350 c.i.d. small block Chevy engines. It starts with the small cross section Fast as Cast® runners. They promote excellent port velocity for increased low end torque and have a profile that provides excellent flow for making high RPM horsepower on small bore engines. Modern CNC-profiled chambers promote combustion efficiency to maximize power with less ignition timing, reducing the potential for detonation. The result is more power and torque, better drivability, and greater throttle response from your street performance engine. The features don't end there. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 cylinder heads have improved A356-T61 castings with 3/4" thick decks for added strength and durability. They also have a competition multi-angle valve job, angled spark plugs, and raised valve cover rails for improved rocker clearance and less potential for oil leaks. Heads are available assembled with premium components including stainless steel valves, bronze guides, 7° machined locks, chromoly retainers, and your choice of PAC Racing valve springs for flat tappet or hydraulic roller cams. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 heads accept most original accessories. They are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747-1 for 1995 and earlier GM vehicles with Chevy 262–350 engines. These Trick Flow® valve cover adapters allow you to run early-style valve covers with your late model Chevrolet's centerbolt heads. Transform your LS1 into a powerhouse! Trick Flow® GenX® 220 cylinder heads for GM 5.7L LS1 engines are a great value in performance. The cathedral port heads incorporate features of Trick Flow® fully CNC-ported LS heads in a more affordable "Fast As Cast®" version that flows nearly as much air as their competition ported heads. The special Fast As Cast® runner design duplicates the port shape and profile of fully CNC-ported runners, resulting in near-CNC-ported performance for the same price as regular cast cylinder heads. Other features include shallower 13.5 degree valve angles to decrease valve shrouding and increase mid-lift airflow, relocated spark plugs, CNC-profiled combustion chambers with port-to-valve seat blending (bowl blending), improved rocker arm/valve cover clearance, and a rigid casting design. Trick Flow GenX® 235 cathedral port cylinder heads are fully CNC-machined to significantly improve the performance of extreme street and race LSX engines. Trick Flow engineers altered the valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to decrease valve shrouding, increase mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners have a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. The spark plugs were relocated in the CNC-profiled combustion chambers to enhance mid-lift airflow and increase the rigidity of the casting for extreme horsepower applications. Material was added at the rocker arm mounting points to increase high-rpm valvetrain stability.
