Are you looking for a great made-in-the-USA cam for your 5.0L H.O. engine? Pro SBF and 303+ cams start with American bearing steel billets, the cams are precision-machined on a modern Landis CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality. Still thinking in terms of LSA and duration splits? These cams are designed on a whole other level by tuning each of the four valve events separately. Having a cam with attitude doesn't mean it has to be a dog at low rpm. We've tuned each of the four valve events to maximize power and torque in the range you will be running in. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. Summit Racing's™ affordable E303 Plus, B303 Plus, and F303 Plus are designed to tune easily and have the idle you're looking for. We've applied the latest lobe technology, and the valve events have been tweaked for modern intake manifolds and cylinder heads. The Pro SBF lineup ranges from a 204-duration daily driver tow cam to a 252 duration 8k rpm barn-burner. They are ground in fine increments to match your specific engine's top-end, displacement and intended rpm range. The lobes are stable to high-rpm and easy on the valvetrain, but we've added lift to take advantage of the high-lift flow of the latest cylinder heads. BluePrint high torque GM 377 c.i.d. base stroker long block crate engines will provide you a great foundation to return your vehicle to the performance level you desire. They feature a new one-piece rear main BluePrint engine block with 4-bolt mains. Inside the block is a cast crankshaft and connecting rod rotating assembly, with 9.1:1 compression hypereutectic pistons. The full roller camshaft provides 0.481 intake/0.480 exhaust lift with 187 intake/193 exhaust duration at .050 with a 97 degree lobe separation. The engines also include a new oil pan, a set of valve covers, and a timing cover to finish them off. We purchased the last of these new-in-the-box engines from Blueprint. Utilizing a Manifold Absolute Vacuum/Pressure (MAVP) sensor eliminates the need for old-school vacuum switches and relays. This configuration also guarantees an incredibly quick vacuum recovery time, ensuring 17 in. to 23 in. Hg vacuum all the time. These billet serpentine systems are easy to install, budget friendly, and styled just right. Summit serpentine belt systems start with a CNC-machined, 1/2 in. thick, 6061 T6 billet aluminum face plate, which has positive belt adjusting holes for both the alternator and A/C pump, plus beveled edges and a machined Summit logo. You also get CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum crank, water pump, alternator, power steering, and clutch cover pulleys, plus a chrome 105 or 140 Amp alternator, a chrome Sanden SD-7 A/C compressor with manifold lines (as noted), an as-cast aluminum GM Type 2 power steering pump (as noted), an as-cast GM high-flow water pump, a serpentine belt, and all the mounting hardware you need. This ensures maximum performance and gives you the idle you are looking for. The lobes are designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in quality .600 and .670 in. spring packs. Careful design guarantees the cams can be installed with minimal difficulty. Although piston to valve clearance should always be verified, the Stage 2 and 3 cams often allow for additional cylinder head milling. The Stage 4 cams often require no changes but can be degreed slightly different as needed.
