Peterson Fluid Systems 400 Series filters provide the best filtering available for fuel or oil. Features include an anodized billet body and caps for durability and resistance to fluid corrosion; a stainless steel mesh element for corrosion resistance; and a pleated element for high flow. They are available in -8 thru -20 AN inlet/outlet sizes, as well as a line of accessory end caps to facilitate the use of temperature probes, accessory oiling and fuel return lines. Filter element choices include 45, 60, 75 and 100 micron stainless or 10/20 micron cellulose, with or without bypass.

Each of the tanks are equipped with a high-flow, spin-on filter inside the cap that makes checking your return filter simple, a built-in dipstick for easier oil level checks, and radiused full flow fittings to eliminate backpressure on the return lines. They're manufactured using aircraft-quality components—and internal baffling provides excellent deaeration of the scavenge oil, while maintaining a tall column of oil over the pickup. These oil tanks disassemble easily, and the tank tops can rotate in relation to the bottoms for ease in fitting placement. The units are available in different capacities, with one or two inlets, and male or female threads. (Heater bungs are sold separately.)
