They can be used on power steering tanks, radiator overflow tanks, rear-ends, and valve covers—as well as other locations to replenish fluid or to serve as inspection ports. These kits include either a steel or aluminum weld-in bung with O-ring for leak-free sealing, and an aluminum cap with the Moroso logo (plain cap also available).

Moroso extended oil pump pickups are engineered to be "where the oil is" under the most demanding racing conditions. Designed for use with Moroso oil pans and constructed of steel, they are precision-bent and heliarc welded. A wire mesh steel screen, which is welded to the pickup box, traps debris without restricting oil flow.

The pans' race-proven diamond shape, four trap door assembly, and anti-slosh baffles keep your oil contained in the oil pump pickup area during road and drag racing. Moroso drag/road race oil pans have a billet aluminum adapter with a 1/4 in. NPT sensor port that allows a 13/16th thread Moroso or OEM filter to be mounted in the stock location--no need to run a remote oil filter. These pans use a stock dipstick.
