When it comes to building horsepower and torque, you need to start at the bottom and work your way up. Manley rotating assemblies are designed for performance enthusiasts wanting to get the most out of their engines. Their assemblies feature 4340 forged steel crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods, either 7/16 in. ARP 8740 cap screws with a 750 hp rating for LS engines/900 hp for big blocks, or optional ARP 2000 cap screws for up to 1,500 hp. They use 2618 Platinum Series forged aluminum pistons, chromoly premium wrist pins, Total Seal piston rings, and Clevite "H" Series narrowed rods and "P" or "H" Series main engine bearings. Manley Replacement Timing Chains

Manley Piston Ring Groove Lock Spacers
Manley piston ring groove lock spacers feature a radial tension design (RTD) that prevents rotation. Should your custom Platinum piston requirements necessitate the wrist pin hole break into the oil ring groove, Manley can widen the oil ring groove and incorporate a groove lock spacer available in several sizes. Manley's RTD groove lock spacers have replaced the old-school, dimpled-style pieces. Their pistons requiring G/L spacers are manufactured with a "receiver groove" within the oil ring groove where the RTD G/L spacers snap into place. Order the proper size and quantity to meet your requirements.

Manley Main Bearings
Manley offers Clevite main bearings to deliver the high performance you need for your high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. Constructed of tri-metal cast copper lead, they have a steel back for support, a cast copper lead lining to withstand the loads of engine operation, an electroplated babbit overlay on the running surface to provide searing surface qualities, and oil grooves for better oiling. For your Manley rotating assemblies, order Clevite bearings for conformability, embeddability, and fatigue resistance.
