Kibblewhite Precision Machining crafts these head studs from 180,000 psi yield strength, fine-grain, heat-treated, premium-grade 8740 material. Their threads are rolled after heat-treating, ensuring maximum compressive stresses are retained for maximum strength and the longest fatigue life possible. Kibblewhite studs are centerless-ground to ensure concentricity, and then finished with a premium black oxide treatment.
