These units are manufactured from A356-T6 aluminum and are designed to work with most off-the-shelf components. SHP heads are available with your choice of 64cc or 72cc combustion chambers—and come in both 180cc and 200cc intake runner ports that are precision-cast to offer excellent flow and power without the need for CNC-machined porting. Dart Pro series rocker arm studs are ideal for competition applications. They are made from 8470 chromoly steel and are heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength. These studs are concentric within .005 T.I.R. thread pitch to thread pitch, which will give you more consistent rocker geometry. With an extra-large radius base, these studs are more resistant to flex and will provide a more positive seating.

Valve springs are one of the most critical and overlooked components in your engine. They must be matched to your cam in order for the engine to reach its full potential. It does absolutely no good to install a cam that will rpm to 8,000 if you do not have the correct springs. Use only the valve springs that will give the recommended spring pressure with the valve both on the seat and at maximum lift. Dart Marine Pro 1 cylinder heads feature an exclusive chromate surface finish to inhibit corrosion and extend the life of the head.
