If being able to adjust your cam timing quickly and easily is a top priority, then COMP Cams Ultimate Adjustable billet timing sets could be the answer. They have 2-piece billet steel cam sprockets, which let you change cam timing without removing the degree wheel or releasing the valvetrain load, and there's no cam bushing to break. Timing can be varied from 6 degrees retarded to 6 degrees advanced. Chains are heavy-duty, double-row types with hefty 0.250 in. rollers. A one-piece roller thrust bearing handles unwanted end loads.

COMP Cams 3-Piece Billet Aluminum Timing Covers
COMP Cams 3-piece billet aluminum timing covers not only look good, but they work good, too. Save time and the hassle of breaking the oil pan seal when you need to change or adjust your timing chain or belt. Even with a thrust button, most stock stamped front covers flex under pressure, causing erratic ignition timing. These covers feature a rigid billet aluminum design that is strong enough to eliminate this flexing problem, hold your cam in place, and keep your timing in control. Endplay adjustment is made easy thanks to an access hole for the dial indicator. Plus, the 3-piece design allows your camshaft to be replaced without disturbing the oil pan seal or removing the harmonic damper. The covers use the same replacement hardware as the 2-piece models. In addition, some of these covers feature integrated time chain tensioner sets and quick-set cam correct and thrust adjustment.

COMP Cams XD-A Pushrods
COMP Cams's XD-A pushrods offer a game-changing method for accurately setting lash or pre-load while using non-adjustable-style rockers. These patent-pending pushrods incorporate a top section that slides 2 in. inside a wider bottom section, with one or two shims captured in-between. Proven to 9,000-plus rpm in solid roller LS applications, the system provides a 90 percent increase in bending stiffness for enhanced valvetrain stability. It also allows for lightening of a rocker arm system by 30-plus grams on the backside by removing the adjuster and required support area for threads and seating. The use of lighter rockers with XD-A adjustable pushrods allow higher rpm to be achieved by creating a much more dynamically stable valvetrain system. COMP Cam XD-A pushrods are designed especially for engines with low-mass rocker arms and a light valvetrain with drop-in fitment in LS engines. They can be adjusted over a range of .172 in. in .004 in. increments with shims. Choose the pushrods with the adjustment range needed for your setup.

COMP Cams Shaft Mount Aluminum Rocker Arms
COMP Cams shaft mount aluminum rocker arms are one of the most cost-effective ways to increase horsepower. These shaft rockers were designed using the latest in computer software and engineering. They center the roller tip over the valve tip at the correct time so that the roller tip is never more than 0.020 in. off-center of the valve tip. At the greatest load point, the roller tip contact is on the center of the valve. At valve closing, the roller tip contact is slightly behind the valve centerline. When the valve is at full open, the tip contact is slightly behind the centerline of the valve. The results are more horsepower and better performance.
