These COMP Cams Hi-Tech 210 degree pushrods were specifically designed for high-lift applications where pushrod and seat interference are problems at maximum lift. They're heat-treated to a minimum hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C scale, for the ultimate in strength. COMP Cams even gives them a black oxide finish and imprints the length and part number on them. In addition, they feature a 210 degree radius, rather than the standard 180 degree radius, so they'll work great with rocker arms that feature cup-type adjusters and applications requiring more load-bearing surface from the pushrod. COMP Cams Cam Phaser Limiter Kits
Comp Cams cam phaser limiter kits are specially designed, computer-controlled cam gears that automatically optimize camshaft timing based on the current engine rpm Engine oil is pressure-fed to the phasers through passageways in the cylinder heads and cams. The engine computers control solenoids that adjust this oil flow into and out of the phasers' control chambers, creating the ability to retard the cams. While this technology provides fuel efficiency and the ability to always be in the best position for maximum power, regardless of engine rpm, it does present some limitations when it comes to performance cams. With such a wide range of valve timing movement, there is very little piston to valve clearance, which limits you to small cam profiles with little overlap. COMP Cams cam phaser limiter kits restrict the range of cam timing movement (14 degrees for Chrysler, 20 degrees for Ford, and 22 degrees for GM), thus providing the necessary valve clearance for serious performance cams with tighter lobe separations--all while utilizing the benefits of VVT technology. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts utilize Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology to maximize power and performance in stock and street/strip applications. The new Hemi engines from Chrysler are great power plants straight from the factory, with technology that allows the camshafts to move in real time. Instead of scrapping this advanced system, COMP Cams has embraced it with a new line of aftermarket Hemi-specific cams. The patent-pending Hemi phaser camshafts work with phaser limiters or locks to fully utilize Chrysler's Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology, which allows them to pick up torque in the low end of the engine, while maintaining power up high. Made from a billet core, these hydraulic roller cams are engineered tough enough to handle 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi street/strip engines. Their unique, no-springs-required design maintains piston-to-valve clearance, while enabling high performance lobes utilizing VVT, making them perfect for late model Dodge Challengers, Dodge Chargers, Chrysler 300s, Jeeps, Dodge trucks, and Mopar crate engines with VVT. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts are available as both custom and three different off-the-shelf grinds, dependent upon engine type, for improved performance over OEM options. COMP Cams XFI VSR Modular 3V (Valve Springs Required) Camshafts deliver a great power improvement over stock levels. These cams are the next step up from the COMP Cams NSR (No Springs Required) Cams and represent a major upgrade in power production. When compared to the NSR, stock valve spring compatible cam series, the VSR cams offer a substantial power gain in the higher rpm ranges.
